Tour De BikeErg

July 8–20

In honor of the upcoming Tour de France, it's time for our next in-house test: the Tour de BikeErg Challenge.

Challenge Details:

  • The challenge runs from July 8th through the 20th.
  • Stages will be released every other day starting the July 8th.
  • You must complete each stage in order by July 20th.

Divisions & Points System:
There will be 3 winners each in the Men’s and Women’s divisions, representing the iconic jerseys of the Tour de France:

  1. General Classification (Yellow Jersey):
    Awarded to the rider with the lowest cumulative time across all 5 stages.
  2. Sprint Classification (Green Jersey):
    Based on points earned in sprint sections. The top times in each sprint section of each stage earn points as follows:
    • 1st – 10 pts
    • 2nd – 7 pts
    • 3rd – 5 pts
    • 4th – 4 pts
    • 5th – 3 pts
    • 6th – 2 pts
    • 7th – 1 pt
  3. Mountain Classification (Polka Dot Jersey):
    Based on points earned in mountain (high-resistance) sections. The top times in each climb stage earn points in the same way as the sprint:
    • 1st – 10 pts
    • 2nd – 7 pts
    • 3rd – 5 pts
    • 4th – 4 pts
    • 5th – 3 pts
    • 6th – 2 pts
    • 7th – 1 pt

Tried, Tested, and Trusted: My Supplment Staples

I often get asked: “What supplements should I be taking?”

Fair question.

For the record, nothing beats blood work. A proper lab analysis can point to any real deficiencies. But after running hundreds of health and performance evaluations, five supplements show up time and again. These are the ones I trust and recommend most.

Let’s get into them:

1.EnteroMend

Enteromend helps repair and support the integrity of the GI tract lining—especially important for those under stress, training hard, or eating less-than-perfect food. Think of it as a recovery drink for your digestive system. The less gut permeability, the lower the systemic inflammation.

Dosage: 1–2 scoops 30 minutes before breakfast.

2. Trace Minerals

Minerals are the spark of our metabolism. Every enzymatic process in your body relies on them—from energy production to hormone conversion. Under high training loads or chronic stress, we enter a state of hypermetabolism. That means we burn through minerals faster. Replenishing them is a no-brainer.

Dosage: 1–2 pills daily with food for better absorption.

3. CoQ10

This one’s all about cellular energy. CoQ10 improves metabolic efficiency, supports cardiovascular health, and protects against oxidative stress—especially important if you’re older, training intensely, or dealing with chronic fatigue.

Dosage: 1–2 pills daily with food

4. Stress B-Complex

A go-to for nervous system resilience. B vitamins play a key role in neurotransmitter function, adrenal support, and the overall stress response. Whether you're deep in training, navigating a workweek, or just managing the daily grind—this helps keep your energy steady.

Dosage: 1–2 pills daily with food.

5. Creatine

Creatine isn’t just for the bros—it’s one of the most researched supplements out there. Improving power output, brain function, and even cellular hydration. Great for strength, longevity, and cognitive health.

Dosage: 5g daily.

Parting words: Supplements don’t replace poor sleep, junk food, or inconsistent training. But they can fill in the gaps—especially when chosen intentionally.

These are my five recommendations. No fluff. Just what works.
